We collaborate with technology partners to expand their global reach by facilitating their relocation to the United Arab Emirates. Vantrad's business model is designed to support our partners' seamless transition into the UAE's robust manufacturing ecosystem. Partners who relocate their production to the UAE compensate Vantrad either through equity sharing in the newly established production facility or by paying a percentage of the total transaction value. In every partnership, Vantrad is deeply committed to establishing and managing an international sales network for the products manufactured in the UAE. Prince Andrey Obolensky, Chief Executive and Sales Officer
As Chief Executive and Sales Officer, Andrey Obolensky is responsible for Vantrad’s overall leadership, global sales initiatives, and strategic vision.
Andrey brings a wealth of experience from his tenure as Vice President of Sales at major international corporations, including thyssenkrupp. A distinguished specialist in Business-to-Government (B2G) transactions, he has a proven track record of securing significant contracts for large-scale products, such as submarines, with national armed forces and government administrations worldwide. His expertise extends across the defense and protection sectors in Europe.
Academically, Andrey is a career military officer, a graduate of the prestigious Helmut Schmidt University (formerly the Bundeswehr University Hamburg), and holds an international executive MBA from IE Business School. In Vantrad’s foundational phase, he is directly overseeing critical areas including Business Development, Market Intelligence, Strategic Accounts, and Captures within the defense, security, and critical infrastructure divisions, ensuring a robust strategic launch for the company.

As Chief Technology Officer, Albert Ramirez leads Vantrad's technological strategy and innovation.
Albert holds a robust academic foundation with a degree in Telecommunications Engineering and a Master's in Economics and Innovation Management. He possesses significant experience in the development of critical software and in driving global sales within the demanding aerospace and defense industries.
His professional journey includes roles as a technologist for industry-leading engineering software like MATLAB and Simulink, and he was instrumental in managing multidisciplinary avionics systems for prominent Airbus programs, including the A400 military transport aircraft and the Tiger attack helicopter.
Carlos Vicente, Chief Operation Officer
As Chief Operating Officer, Carlos Vicente González is a seasoned innovation leader with a proven track record of driving commercial and strategic initiatives in the technology and consulting sectors.
He has spearheaded significant innovation consulting activities, including identifying key clients and fostering partnerships under initiatives like the EU-LAC Digital Accelerator. His expertise was further honed at Accenture Iberia as an Innovation Senior Manager, where he managed high-impact projects ranging from the Digital Euro platform to quantum technology research.
Carlos excels at bridging corporate challenges with cutting-edge solutions, leveraging his deep understanding of digital transformation, AI, and startup ecosystems to deliver measurable results. Academically, he holds an Executive MBA from IESE, Navarra University, and a degree in Business Administration from ICADE, Universidad Pontificia Comillas, complementing his hands-on experience and multilingual proficiency (Spanish, English, Catalan).
Baron Tassilo von Huene, Chief Financial Officer
As CFO, Tassilo von Hoyningen-Huene leads Vantrad’s financial strategy, capital allocation, and performance management. He is responsible for ensuring financial discipline, transparency, and the effective deployment of resources across all divisions.
Tassilo brings deep experience from his tenure in investment banking and financial advisory, with a focus on the technology and business services sectors. At Alantra, he played a pivotal role in complex transactions across Europe, with exposure to founder-led businesses, private equity clients, and growth-stage platforms. His expertise includes valuation, financial modelling, market analysis, and transaction structuring.
He holds an MSc in Finance from ESADE Business School and a BSc in Business Administration and Economics from the University of Passau. Tassilo has passed CFA Level I and speaks German and English fluently, with advanced proficiency in Spanish.
In Vantrad’s foundational phase, he is also responsible for contract negotiation, financial planning, and the preparation of investor and transaction documentation.
